Detailed Description

XGen is a surface scatter tool which can be used for grooming hair and fur.

Installation Notes

This module uses the XGen API from one or more Maya installs. You should have FE properly configured to build the Maya module in order to use this module.

The archive for GPL tool patchelf should be downloaded and placed in ${FE_ROOT}/ext/xgen/.

This has been tested with the archive file patchelf-0.9.tar.bz2. If you use a different file, you will probably need to edit ${FE_ROOT}/ext/xgen/bld.py.
